Hey riders and surf enthusiasts! At Board Zone Shop, we want you to be stoked about every purchase. If something isn’t quite right with your gear, we’ve got your back with our simple returns and exchanges process.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition you received them
  • Original tags must still be attached
  • Items must be in the original packaging

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Boogie Boards (once used in water)
  • Men’s Wetsuits (hygiene reasons)
  • Decks that show signs of use
  • Any items marked as “Final Sale”

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Contact Our Crew

Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you’d like to return or exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you want a refund or exchange

Step 2: Wait for Approval

Our crew will review your request and email you within 2 business days with return instructions and an RMA number.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Once approved, package your item securely and include:

  • The RMA number clearly visible on the package
  • Original packing slip or a copy of your order confirmation

Return Shipping Info

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee we’ll receive your returned item.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • We’ll notify you that we’ve received your returned item
  • We’ll let you know if the refund was approved or not
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5 business days

Refund Methods

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 3-10 business days to appear on your statement
  • PayPal: Typically processed within 24 hours

Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

Want to swap for a different size or color? Here’s how exchanges work:

  1. Follow the same return process above
  2. Clearly state in your email that you want an exchange and specify the replacement item
  3. Once we receive your return, we’ll ship the replacement item

If the exchange item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your gear arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us immediately at [email protected]
  • Include photos of the damage/defect
  • We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no cost to you

International Returns

For customers outside the U.S.:

  • You’re responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
  • Refunds will be issued in USD and may be subject to currency conversion fees
  • Processing may take 2-3 weeks due to customs clearance
